His book 'Purgatorio protestante' denouncing the abuses of power in many churches brought him quite a few enemies. His last book 'Volvamos a la fuente', his second book, delving into the same sense, puts his finger on the sore spot regarding many problems that the Church in Latin America is experiencing.
